History

1950
The first generation of Seiji Omi established SEIKO MERIYASU manufacturing plant
1972
Name of the company has been changed to SEIKO CORPORATION.
1973
Established SEIKO Corporation Togane Factory, at Togane City, Chiba pref.
1984
T.S.S. (Toyota Sewing System) has been introduced to Togane Factory, first time in Japanese cut&sewn sewing factories.
1987
Completed a new SEIKO headquarters building
1990
2nd generation Makoto Omi appointed as Representative Director and President
Changed company name of Togane factory to CUCIRE CORPORATION
2006
Started production in Vietnam
2007
Awarded a grand prize “Active “Sumida”Encouraging Manufacturing Enterprise.
2011
Factory brand IKIJI launched with four companies in Sumida Ward
2014
Selected as 300 "SMEs and small businesses doing their best"
2015
IKIJI exhibits for the first time at Pitti Immagine Uomo (Firenze, Italia)

Internal system

Sales Department

With a focus on the OEM business, a person in charge with knowledge on clothing making know-how and cut&sewn product knowledge will carefully respond to client inquiries and requests.

Planning Department

From specification and making instruction of OEM products and Factory Brand Products to pattern creation. Every day, we are working on product improvement and new product development.

General Affairs Department

Responsible for a wide range of in-house operations including visitor reception, accounting, finance and general affairs.

Research Design Development Office

Take on various tasks related to production.

Quality Management Office

Strictly check the quality of factory products and pre-delivery products
Maintain "SEIKO quality".

Research and Development

We provide technical supervision of all products that are elaborately produced, from initial design of some products to advice.

Sample Room

Create a sample. Also in charge of development samples for “manufacturing projects”.

Production Control

Create production plans and manage progress.

IKIJI

Exhibition, Sales and PR for IKIJI, factory brand products in and out of Japan.

Cucire

Our own plant in Togane-city, Chiba Prefecture. Experienced craftsmen are responsible for producing OEM products and factory brand products (sewing, finishing, and inspection)
